What Kipa does
Owners of spaza shops, salons and street vendors message Kipa on WhatsApp to record their own sales, expenses and stock levels. Kipa replies with summaries and running totals.
No app download or login needed.
How it works
- The business owner sends Kipa a WhatsApp message.
- They record what happened in their own words, for example
2 bread 15orhaircut 80. - Kipa records the entry and replies with a confirmation and their running total for the day.
What Kipa is not
- Kipa does not sell, advertise or facilitate the sale of any products.
- Kipa does not process payments.
- Kipa does not offer credit, loans or financial services.
Owners only record their own business activity.

All conversations are started by the business owner. Kipa does not send marketing or unsolicited messages.
